An Evening With: Orion Wines

Join us for an exclusive evening at White Horse as we welcome Elana Ciurletti from Orion Wines and the team from Steep Hill Wines in Lincoln for a truly unique wine and food pairing experience. This immersive event will take you on a journey through the world of Orion Wines, exploring their rich history, the vineyards, and the incredible wines they produce.

Our talented Head Chef Jack will curate a menu designed to perfectly complement each wine course, showcasing the best of seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.

The Wines

• Aperitif – Zensa Spumante: Begin the evening with a refreshing and lively sparkling wine to awaken your palate.

• Course 1 – Zensa Rosé: A light, crisp rosé to kick off the first course, with vibrant fruit notes that will beautifully complement the dish's flavours.

• Course 2 – Zensa Nero di Troia: This medium-bodied red from southern Italy offers rich, dark fruit and spice, perfectly paired with your second course.

• Course 3 – Masseria Borgo Negromaro: A full-bodied red with bold flavours, offering deep berry and earthy notes that will shine alongside the third course.

• Course 4 – Masseria Borgo Mirea: A truly special wine, an Appassimento made with Primitivo grapes that have dried on the vine, creating a super-concentrated, 17% ABV wine that’s rich and intense. A perfect match for the heartiest course.

• Dessert – Masseria Borgo Signor P: Conclude your evening with a luxurious sweet red Primitivo at 16% ABV, the ideal pairing to end the night on a high note.

The Menu: Chef Jack and his team will create a carefully crafted menu for each course to bring out the best in these exceptional wines. Every bite will enhance the flavours of the wine, creating a harmonious dining experience that will be revealed on the night.
